This September, the first ever Dublin Gallery Weekend takes place.

Accompanying the Dubliners selection for the HDLU Biennial of Painting, is a specially curated reel giving a glimpse into the layered histories and complex identity of Dublin, through a selection of artists revealing the city through video works.

To coincide with her exhibition Hyper- at Pallas Projects/Studios, the artist 1iing heaney hosts Experimental 3D scanning workshop.

Curated by artist and lecturer Cliona Harmey, this screening takes place in conjunction with the EFC and her recent exhibition ‘Troposphere’ at Pallas Projects.

Meshed fragments of conflated memories, histories and fictions rest in this place temporarily.

Pallas Projects/Studios has been selected to be a partner once again for the Future Generation Art Prize 2014.

The Future Generation Art Prize application procedure is open now until 20 May to offer the opportunity to all artists throughout the world to take part in the 5th edition of the biannual global contemporary art prize.

The Future Generation Art Prize is a biannual global contemporary art prize to discover, recognise and give long-term support to a future generation of artists. All artists aged from 18 to 35 working in any medium are invited to apply.

Artist Marie Farrington will host an informal walkthrough of her current exhibition Fore, fold during which she will discuss the research behind the work, its development, and how the exhibition ties into broader concerns within her sculptural practice.

Gerard Byrne will be in conversation with John Lalor on the opening of his exhibition 'MOMENT OF SURRENDER' at Pallas Projects/Studios.

Devised by IADT students, two online gatherings will take place to accompany their online exhibtion High Heart. The second of these welcomes Alice Butler (aemi) and Maeve Connolly (IADT) who will explore how artists, curators and programmers have adapted to new modes of exhibition.
