Artist Biographies:

BÁHDO (@_bahdo) is a Brazil-born DJ based in Dublin. Drawing from her heritage, she moves across styles and tempos, shaping sets through groove, texture and movement. Moving across house, techno, electro, bass and baile funk alongside alternative and percussive-driven cuts, BÁHDO brings a distinctive, rhythm-led energy as a sound selector. She has played at Forbidden Fruit and Fuinneamh Festival, as well as across Dublin’s club scene and for a range of collectives. She also hosts SÜBTEMPO, a monthly residency on Eist Radio in Cork exploring electronic sounds and raw street-rooted rhythms from underrepresented artists shaping Brazil’s soundscape, steadily building her presence across the Irish club scene and beyond.

GOVERNESS (@govern3ss) resides in Dublin and has been woven into our Irish club scene for over 10years. She's DJd all over the country and alongside most of the hottest crews. She holds down a few residencies all over Dublin. Which is no surprise as she's one of the cities most versatile Selektahs. From Chicago originally where she discovered House, Jazz, R&B, HipHop, Juke, Footwork & Detroit Techno. After moving to Ireland she was introduced to such Bassy Delights such as Dubstep, Jungle & UKG. Combine all that with her love for Reggae, Dancehall, Dub, Latin, African, Caribbean, Italo Disco and Rock and you got yourself a mix of everything in one DJ Set.

Laetitia (@laeti_dee) is a Dublin-based DJ who has been involved in electronic music for over 15 years, and whose record collection started when she began working behind the counter at the legendary Phonica Records in London. Since returning to Dublin, she has been involved with the local community through Dublin Digital Radio where she has been a long-time volunteer for a number of years and her show "www" which she founded upon her return to Ireland. She is also a resident of the very occasional Tacky Cardia party. Her sets are influenced by but not limited by soundsystem culture, rave, Detroit & Chicago, and all the weird shit in between.

Jinx Lennon (@jinxlennon) is an Irish punk and urban poet. Lennon's work has been compared to Mark E. Smith and John Cooper Clarke for the "off-beat genius of his lyrics". Themes which have been explored in his music include childhood, poverty, inequality, the Celtic Tiger, domestic violence, mental health, loneliness, the importance of self-love, recession, emigration, anti-Irish sentiment, environmentalism, racism, the 2014 Garda whistleblower scandal, the Lisa Smith case, as well as wider societal issues affecting the border region, Dundalk, and Ireland at large.

D7’s finest, DJ F*GGOT (@notyourfuckingson) is slaying traditional family values and spreading the globohomo, LGBTQIA+ agenda hard ‘n’ fast with his lubed-up all-inclusive multigenre high BPM seleXXXions. Once you enter his Safe Space no genre is off limits; expect jersey club, donk, speed dembow, footwork, ghettotech, and jungle arse-peelers from beginning to end. With supporting slots for international sensations DJ YARAK, Eugene McCauley, Surgeon, DJ Fuckoff, Rory Sweeney, U.R. Trax, and jamesjamesjames as well as a weekly residency at Bump Dublin and a recent London debut under his belt, DJ F*GGOT is sowing seeds of excellence set after set with no signs of stopping. He is The Future That Liberals Want and the Burke family are powerless to stop him!

Two names familiar to most who care for the spaces and sounds that have kept alternative dance music alive in this city. Bull Horris (@bullhorris) & Tadhg K (@tk_lemonade) are two artists and close friends who have come together through their love of vinyl, and their respective parties across Dublin over the past number of years. Tadhg is the founder of Dublin Modular, a queer, artist-run organisation who host events in galleries, yards and theatres, merging club culture with alternative spaces & disciplines in Ireland. Bull Horris is co-founder and resident of TENDER, a nomadic (by necessity), queer, DIY party who create intentional spaces and dancefloors for the community. Both have independent visual arts practices which are fed through the work they do with their community. Their sets have always embraced a performative, playful and immersive relationship with the crowd. Taking you from love to lust, Bull Horris & Tadhg K explore a euphoric experience to keep you moving from beginning to end. 

JWY (@____JWY___) is a Dublin-based DJ born in Amsterdam with roots in Ghana, India and Suriname. Known for high-energy, bass-driven sets and fluid genre movement, she has supported artists including Bakey, Conducta, Jeff Mills, Sammy Virji, Amor Satyr, Nick León and Teki Latex. She has played festivals and platforms such as Other Voices, Open Ear, Project 6, AVA and ATN, including stages like Arcadia and Rave in the Woods at Electric Picnic. Jowy is a resident with queer collective Rathaus and one half of the B2B duo BK86. Her sets pull from afro and Caribbean-influenced riddims, UKG, breaks, grime, 140, drums and baile funk. Alongside DJing, she runs Foxgluv and co-founded AMPM, platforms focused on building community and highlighting female, non-binary, and trans creatives in club culture.
