Culture Night Dublin 2021: These Dark Shapes—Drop-in Sculpture Workshop

Join artist Róisín White in the gallery where you will be invited to explore the exhibition and spend some time making your own miniature sculpture, and add to the installation. White's exhibition "These Dark Shapes", as part of the Artist-Initiated Projects (AIP), explores the catharsis in making totems to intense emotions and how building your feelings and living with them as tangible objects has helped her navigate grief and a complicated year. Róisín invites you to take a look at that feeling you're holding in your chest, that tension in your shoulders, and make a physical object to represent it. AIP is an open-submission, annual gallery programme of exhibitions with a dedicated tradition towards the professional development of artists in a peer-led, supportive environment.
