Biography:

Cian Nugent & The Cosmos are the full electric band that has developed from Cian Nugent's solo guitar playing over the past few years with David Lacey, Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh (who both played on Cian's debut album Doubles), Conor Lumsden and Brendan Jenkinson. New material shows the added influence to Cian's wandering guitar playing of the eternal flow of transnational desert blues, psychedelic thoughts on rock, feeling fine, jazz ambitions, and the campaign to leagalise jamming.

Cian's debut studio album Doubles came out in June 2011 on US label VHF after an EP in 2007 and a live album, Childhood Christian Lies and Slaughter in 2008. And 7" Grass Above My Head b/w My War Blues followed in May 2012. A new 7" Hire Purchase is due in April on Matador Records subscription series Singles Going Home Alone, the debut release by Cian Nugent & The Cosmos.
