28th September 2022

Pallas Projects/Studios were thrilled to welcome Catherine Martin T.D, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, and Maureen Kennelly, Director of The Arts Council last week to officially launch our new studios at The Digital Hub, and to meet some of our amazing artists. This significant new development which will provide 25 large single & double studios for the next 3 years, is a hugely positive first step in ensuring a commitment to artists’ studios in the city, and we are delighted to have secured this much needed provision with the support of The Arts Council.

Speaking at the opening, the Minister said capital for artists’ workspaces was “a priority issue, of holding on to our artists and giving them enhanced spaces and creating new spaces. We want to hold on to what talent is there, but also to help emerging talent stay.”

Our thanks to our brilliant staff, studio members, our board, and all at The Digital Hub for their help on the day!
