Artists Talk—Austin Hearne & Michelle Hall

Join Austin Hearne in conversation with Michelle Hall as they discuss Hearne's new exhibition Remains, the second exhibition of our Artist-Initiated Projects programme.

Biography:

Michelle Hall is an interdisciplinary artist and writer. Throughout her practice she uses details, textures, words and objects to create works that examine modes of behaviour and thought. She graduated from the MA Art in the Contemporary World programme at NCAD in 2016 and completed her BA Fine Art at DIT Portland Row in 2007. In 2017 Hall received the StartPoint Prize and was awarded an upcoming residency in Prague and exhibition at Berlinskej Model. In late 2018 she will travel to Berlin on residency at Kunstlerhaus Bethanien. Hall was awarded the Arts Council Film Bursary 2017 and the Dublin City Council Tyrone Guthrie Residency 2017. Her practice has been generously supported by the Fingal Arts Office Artists' Support Scheme 2014 – 2017. Hall is currently based at the RHA School having been awarded the Fingal Arts Studio Award 2018.
