Sarah Farrell's work explores and articulates the fragility inherent in personal relationships, with a particular focus on emotional resilience and how we negotiate the unpredictable. Her practice centres on painting, photography and sculptural forms.

She completed studies in NCAD with a first class distinction in 2012 following a career as a barrister specialising in immigration & family law. She was offered a studio at PP/S to research and develop a new body of work.

She is currently exhibiting in PLATFORM in Draíocht Arts Centre (June 2019), having been Draíocht INCUBATE artist in residence (April - June 2018). She has also exhibited in group shows in Block T and Birr Theatre & Arts Centre. She sits on the Board of Independent Studios and Pallas Projects/Studios.
