Michael Murphy

Artist / Musician / Educator 

After a decade as an educator, Michael has moved to full-time artistic practise in summer 2025. In his first year as an emerging artist, he exhibited at Art Source, and smaller exhibitions in Dublin. 

Michael's work is influenced by mark-making and development of cultural symbols in primitive cultures such as the San peoples in Namibia and ancient Ireland.

He is due to collaborate with an ethical clothing company and local poets in late 2026.
