A professional visual artist originally from Tehran, I have lived and worked in Dublin since 2009 after two years in Seoul, Korea. I had have more than thirty group shows internationally and eight solo exhibitions in Tehran, Seoul and Dublin (Kevin Kavanagh gallery). I have taught drawing in Tehran and Seoul from 1995 and have been working for five years with the Chester Beatty library teaching drawing and painting techniques there. While painting is my main discipline, I also work with other media such as drawing, photography and installation. The art form I choose depends on the conceptual nature of the project I am working on.
