Dublin Modular—“Chosen Family” Pride Exhibition

This exhibition is produced by Dublin Modular with support from Pallas Projects/Studios.

Our Pride theme this year is "Chosen Family".

Chosen Family being a common term among the queer community (and others). We're focusing on that network of friends and loved ones that share mutual support, acceptance, and understanding they may not receive from their biological families.

We've curated and gathered a selection of local Queer artists from our Open Call Applications. We're delighted to share this community focused exhibtion highlighting these queer artists to you.

What to expect?

We will have a series of works on display in a Gallery setting with sound design elements complimenting the Gallery space.
We will be doing an in house panel discussion with some of the artists.
Finally there will be music and djing in the yard area too!

So there's something for everyone and it's free to attend!

After the opening the exhibition will continue to be open to the public Wednesday - Saturday 12-6pm for free till the 10th of July. (Excluding Saturday 29th of June, as Gallery is closed for ticketed event).

Dublin Modular is an artist-run organisation primarily hosting all types of live electronic music and visual arts meetups, workshops, talks and performances throughout Dublin City. Our community ranges from young to old and in genre classical to experimental noise. Although the majority of our events are based in Dublin, members of the community come from all over the Island of Ireland. We are constantly developing; extending our platform to infuse different art forms including dance, literature and photography. We hope to keep this blending of arts continuously growing throughout our future projects.
